“_Then the king said, “Bring me a sword.” So they brought a sword for the king. He then gave an order: “Cut the living child in two and give half to one and half to the other.” The woman whose son was alive was deeply moved out of love for her son and said to the king, “Please, my Lord, give her the living baby! Don’t kill him!” But the other said, “Neither I nor you shall have him. Cut him in two!” Then the king gave his ruling: “Give the living baby to the first woman. Do not kill him; she is his mother.” When all Israel heard the verdict the king had given, they held the king in awe, because they saw that he had wisdom from God to administer justice.”_
1 Kings 3:24-28 NIV
The story of this two prostitute and the judgement of king Solomon is a lesson we have learnt from our Sunday school teachers and they did a good job by making us understand Gods wisdom.
As I study this scripture more closer and meditate on it. His reveals and shine light on what he actually wanted to communicate with this event. Let briefly explain what the Spirit of God taught me.
The two prostitute represent two men in the state of Sin. Jesus who knew no sin but was made sin and the Satan who uses sin as a weapon to kill those who follow him. Just like the devil kills those he lives in thier heart and after contend to win the heart of more me. The second protitute which represents the devil slept on his child to death then was contending for the living child. Jesus who is God does not kill he only gives life.
They appeared before Kind Solomon for Justice. And they were made to state thier case. Since they all lay claim to the living child. Solomon decided to kill the child by dividing him in two part. That Living Child in this passage is You and I that are alive today. The devil accused us and we were to die so that he can have a share of us. But Jesus who is the Definition of LOVE said NO. The child must not die but give the child to the second woman. Jesus knew per the love he has shown the child when he grows up he will know who his true mother is that is why he is not worried giving to the second. Meaning we all lived under the second woman(SIN) and through his love we have been saved and joined together with our true mother.
Interestingly the woman( Satan) objected by saying “
_Neither I nor you shall have him. Cut him in two!””_
1 Kings 3:26 NIV
This actually reveals the True Intentions of the devil. He always want to exploit God Justice to bring about of death. The devil want us spiritually dead. Infact the devil is responsible for all the deaths that happened in the Old Testament example in Noah’s day, sodom and gomorah etc. God does not kill rather the Absence of God presence brings death and Destruction. God did not cause the death of Adam. Rather God out of love forwarned Adam of the consequences of his action. And that caused his death. Jesus said
_The Devil is the Murderer and Killer from the beginning_. John 8:44a
The devil has deceived many to believe God will harm or destroy you meanwhile he is not responsible.
The the next verse we will study what actually God Justice is…
“_Then the king gave his ruling: “Give the living baby to the first woman. Do not kill him; she is his mother.””_
1 Kings 3:27 NIV
The only evidence to the determination of this case is LOVE. The Holy Spirit taught me Gods Justice is Love. Gods Justice was fully executed on the Cross of Calvary. In that the Justice of God was revealed through Love expressed in Wisdom.
How can someone die for his enemies? Is that Justice?
It is only the wisdom of God that will reveal to you that Justice is born from Unconditional Love.
But don’t be deceived “_whatever a man sows you will reap, for he that soweth in the flesh will reap in the flesh”_ gal 6:7
If you smoke Cigarette you will die of lung cancer, if you fornicate you will die of AIDS, if you are a liar you will be disgraced, if you steal you will be jailed, if you are pregnant and you don’t take care of your health and eat or drink something unauthorised you will loose the baby or give birth you a disease ridden child. This is not God punishing anyone. This is the consequence of Man’s own actions and choices . We are the cause of all the natural disaster that is happening all over the world.
“_All Israel heard about the decision the king made. They respected the king very highly, because they saw he possessed wisdom from God to do what was right.”_
1 Kings 3:28
This Judge was hailed all over Isreal as the most wisest decision because this can only come from God. So what is the Wisdom Of God?
“God has united you with Christ Jesus. For our benefit God made him to be wisdom itself. Christ made us right with God; he made us pure and holy, and he freed us from sin.”
1 Corinthians 1:30 NLT
Wisdom Of God is Jesus Christ. Jesus is Wisdom itself. He is the definition of Wisdom. Teaching Wisdom without Jesus is teaching a wisdom that come from this world and not God. The only way to teach wisdom is to teach Jesus Christ. The only way a man becomes wise is to receive the knowledge about Jesus. There the interpretation of Proverds 9:10 which state “The Fear of the Lord is the beginning Of Wisdom” is held “ THE APPLICATION OR USAGE OF THE KNOWLEDGE OF CHRIST IS THE INDWELLING OF WISDOM IN A MAN.
Jesus is the power of God. There is no power in God outside Jesus. He is the only knowledge you need. Spend your time learning about him in the scriptures. JESUS IS THE ALPHA AND OMEGA. THE BEGINNING AND THE END.
