I was always fascinated by how Jesus silenced the demonized man who was speaking the truth about Him. The demon was not lying. He said Jesus was the Holy One of God. Yet Jesus rebuked him. This shows us that God does not accept truth from a defiled source. Source is everything. If you train yourself to receive truth from the wrong spirit, you will slowly lose discernment without realizing it.We live in a generation that loves exposure but ignores purity. We defend truth, but we forget grace. We confront error, but we forget redemption. Jesus never used truth to destroy people. He used truth to heal them. Truth without grace is not Christlike. It is dangerous.The question is not only, “Is this true?” The question is also, “Where is this coming from, and what spirit is behind it?”
