This is Why I Would Discredit Your Truth Presentation
“Just then, a man in their synagogue who was possessed by an impure spirit cried out, ‘What do you want with us, Jesus of Nazareth? Have you come to destroy us? I know who you are—the Holy One of God!’
‘Be quiet!’ Jesus said sternly. ‘Come out of him!’ The impure spirit shook the man violently and came out of him with a shriek.” Mark 1:23–26
I was always fascinated with this story, how Jesus silenced the demonized man who was basically proclaiming something good, which is the truth about Jesus, who is the Messiah. Jesus was not impressed. Actually, He was bothered, because the Lord hates the foretelling of truth from the wrong source, from a defiled spirit. Source is everything, because if you train yourself to hear truth from demons, you will end up compromising your discernment.
The heart behind telling the truth is everything to God.
Jesus was not impressed by the exposure of His reality as Messiah through a demonized man. Yes, truth matters to God, but the source matters most.
We live in a generation seeking truth without caring about the source. Such a believer is in great danger, because now you cannot rebuke a demon telling the truth, since your love for truth, more than for the pure source behind it, has blinded you. It is a snare. The enemy has a grip on you. He found a way to be established. After all, the devil is afraid to be exposed and cast out.
The devil can present you with the truth, but he will never be able to mix it with grace, because there is no grace in him.
Grace is a person. It is Jesus. That is why source is everything. The recipe of glory is truth and grace, lots of grace, because truth empowered by grace becomes redemptive, and that is the nature of Jesus. Truth void of grace is death.
And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen His glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth. John bore witness about Him, and cried out, “This was He of whom I said, ‘He who comes after me ranks before me, because He was before me.’” For from His fullness we have all received, grace upon grace. For the law was given through Moses; grace and truth came through Jesus Christ. No one has ever seen God; the only God, who is at the Father’s side, He has made Him known. John 1:14–18
Do you see the importance of truth and grace coming together, always?
When they brought the adulterous woman to Jesus to stone her to death according to the law of Moses, the Pharisees and the community were not wrong, not really. They were trying to endorse truth by exposing sin and the sinner. They had zeal for truth, but the spirit behind it was death. They wanted truth to thrive, but they wanted to kill the vessel that compromised it.
Jesus did not come to save the truth; He came to save the man.
Any attempt to save the truth without redeeming the person compromising it does not come from the Spirit of God. It is just like that, always. Hold this revelation closely, and you will stay in discernment.
I wonder if the story of that precious adulterous woman would have been different if she were the daughter of one of those Pharisees who caught her in the act. I think the story would have taken another course, right? Maybe that same Pharisee who was zealous to kill that woman would now try to ask Jesus if there was a creative divine way to spare her.
If there is one thing I learned about humanity, it is that we want God to treat us and our loved ones with mercy, but we want Him to judge others. Will you go public to defame your own loved ones? Or you will first try your best to work things out privately? This tells a lot about your purity for such a task.
What if you had the heart of the heavenly Father, who sees everyone as His child? I think we would have done our social media and confrontations in a different way. We would push truth and grace in this case, and not just truth alone.
Another thing that is interesting in that story is the bias in truth.
Oh, the biased landing strips in the truth we defend. We hear that those Pharisees wanted to stone the adulterous woman, but we hear nothing about the man who was also committing adultery with her. Maybe because he was a man? But the commandment “Do not commit adultery” is for everyone, right? If you want to defend truth, at least be pure and fair.
Does this mean we do not proclaim truth? That we do not expose sin, sinners, and darkness? We do, but are we really following the order in Scripture? What does the Word of God teach us about approaching such things? There is a love protocol for that, but everything should be based on redemption. Never forget this: are you saving the truth or the man?
Source is everything. That is our beginning. The very next thing is: are you under authority? Who delegated you, or was it self-promotion and Luciferian pride? Are you operating from a “better spirit” than others? I am better. No one is seeing it but me. No one is helping. Everyone is a coward. I am the savior of everyone, and they need me.
Elijah appeals to God against Israel: “Lord, they have killed Your prophets, they have demolished Your altars, and I alone am left, and they seek my life.” But what is God’s reply to him? “I have kept for Myself seven thousand men who have not bowed the knee to Baal.” Romans 11:2–4
Elijah fell because pride sneaked into his heart. I went through it too. Maybe you have also. I thought I was the only zealous, on-fire, anointed prophetic person in my church, and others were a bunch of nothing. The world needed me. I was the savior of the prophetic movement.
How many times I prophesied not from God’s loving fire, but from an unclean fire and passion, driven by pride. I am better. I am alone in this. We sometimes call it pioneering. No one is doing it. I am the savior. I am needed. I need to call it out. All this positioning was nothing but pride and self-righteousness. I was my own god in the name of truth.
Do you need me to write this article? No. You need Jesus. Lest I fall into the same sin. Keep your eyes on the Lord. He is everything you need. He is the only one who is good.
We live in a world that wants to save only the victimized and not the abuser. If someone tries to give grace to the abuser even a little bit, they will be resisted, rejected, and culturally canceled. That is the bias in truth I was telling you about, because Jesus wants everyone to be redeemed.
If your presentation is like that, it does not carry the essence and sweet aroma of Jesus Christ. I will not listen to you. It is missing the fullness of Christ. If you want me to hear your presentation, remove bias, redeem everyone, and exalt the name of Jesus in your defense. Is Jesus glorified? Is salvation glorified and lifted? Was the cross the center of your speech? If not, I am not listening to you. You will contaminate my purity. You are an anti-Christ.
If you cannot save, you cannot judge.
In the book of Revelation, Jesus did not ignore the wrongdoing of the churches. Yet He started by encouraging them, appreciating their efforts, love, and faith, and that they were trying. Honor is the culture of heaven. Then He addressed their issues to bring them to restoration and righteousness. Do you encourage and correct? Are you Christlike? Or do you prefer spotting errors because it shows you are smart and knowledgeable?
Remember that those you are judging are your family in Christ. Are you trying to severely sever the branches from the vine completely, or are you keeping a way for their comeback and restoration?
Yes, we need to seek justice for the victims. We need to discredit abusive ministries and sometimes put people in jail. But the big question behind this is not how well you do it, but who you are as you do it. Source matters. It is everything to the Lord because the whole commandment is summed up in loving God and your neighbor as yourself.
Judging others is a delicate and sensitive matter. It is a scary job for me. I do not want it unless I am commissioned somehow. Judging precious souls Jesus died for must be done by mature ones in love, wisdom, and the full counsel of God.
Those whistleblowers and watchmen should operate within a board of mature people too, because it is a huge task to handle alone. They need each other to cover it from all sides. If they are loners in this, they still have blind spots, and they will fall into error and hurt others. Every sane surgeon, no matter how professional he is, needs a team. It is a matter of life and death here.
The devil does not care about truth and righteousness. He wants to use truth lovers without grace to carve an opening for his merciless grip. The devil is a deceiver. The only thing he always seeks is an opening to rule.
“I will no longer talk much with you, for the ruler of this world is coming. He has no claim on me.” John 14:30
I have seen many good people, oriented in a good way, ending up carving an entrance for the destroyer because they lacked the right kingdom order to do it and the right heart behind it.
“A bruised reed He will not break, and a smoldering wick He will not quench, till He sends forth justice to victory.” Matthew 12:20
Jesus is gentle in redeeming others.
God bless you

You’re way off here. Mike Winger exposed what the so-called “apostles” and “prophets” surrounding Shawn Bolz refused to confront. They knew, and they chose not to protect the church. You should have written in sackcloth and ashes—lamenting what has become of leaders now rightfully exposed by Winger. You should be indignant with the many leaders who have embarrassed the name of our God by refusing to publicly expose a man they continuously publicly elevated.
Our Savior welcomes even the most vile of repentant sinners. But He also protects His flock from those who refuse to repent of their abuses. He will act on behalf of the victims—those who watched “apostles” and “prophets” refuse to expose corruption while actively promoting and elevating corrupt leaders.
