The #1 Secret Entry Point for Jezebel’s Control: Forget Everything Else You Thought You Knew!
You’ve probably heard countless teachings about Jezebel—her manipulation, control, and influence. But what if everything you thought you knew only scratched the surface? There’s one secret entry point that gives her access to even the strongest believers, and it’s hiding in plain sight. This isn’t just another warning—it’s a wake-up call. Ready to find out what’s really empowering her grip? Keep reading. Your freedom may depend on it and share with others!

In the biblical narrative, few figures carry such a heavy spiritual implication as Jezebel. She was a Phoenician princess, the daughter of Ethbaal, king of the Sidonians—a high priest of Baal himself. Her name, Izevel in Hebrew, can be translated as “Where is the prince?”—a ritual cry in Baal worship. From the moment she married King Ahab of Israel, Jezebel brought with her not only political alliances but the infiltration of foreign gods, specifically Baal and Asherah, into the heart of Israel.
Jezebel was not a passive queen. She was active, strategic, and spiritual in her pursuit of domination. She surrounded herself with hundreds of Baal prophets, established a system of idolatry in the land, persecuted and murdered the prophets of the LORD, and ultimately sought to silence the voice of truth and purity in Israel. She introduced mixture—worship of Jehovah alongside other gods—which is the root of her influence and deception. This spirit thrives not in a clear rejection of God, but in compromise.
Mixture is the landing strip for Jezebel. Her power grows in a divided heart. She does not always ask for the full denial of the LORD, because such a blatant tactic would be recognized and rejected by believers. Instead, she works subtly, introducing idolatry through relationships, politics, wealth, comfort, and fear. Her goal is to weaken the prophetic voice, manipulate leadership, and seduce the people of God into spiritual adultery. Holiness and purity are what terrify her, because they remove her grip.
Jezebel needed a king. She was not content to be alone; she required Ahab to carry out her will in Israel. She worked through his passivity, manipulating him and ruling through his authority. Ahab’s name means “father’s brother,” possibly reflecting a compromising and familiar nature, lacking the decisive edge to resist her influence.
Her daughter Athaliah followed in her footsteps. Athaliah, whose name may mean “Yahweh is exalted,” was a contradiction in herself—carrying a divine name but acting in absolute rebellion. She usurped the throne of Judah, killed her own royal family, and led Judah into idolatry. Jezebel’s legacy did not die with her; it continued through spiritual offspring—those who perpetuate mixture and domination.
In the midst of this spiritual crisis arose Elijah. A prophet of fire, a man of confrontation, whose name means “My God is Yahweh.” Elijah’s entire identity was to declare and defend the exclusivity of God. On Mount Carmel, he issued the timeless challenge: “If the LORD is God, follow Him; but if Baal, follow him.” He drew a line, forcing Israel to make a choice. No mixture. No compromise. One altar. One fire. One God.
Elijah confronted the false prophets and exposed the deception of Baal worship, striking a major blow to Jezebel’s prophetic infrastructure. Yet, even after this great victory, Jezebel remained. Elijah ran in fear, and her stronghold as a principality was not dismantled by him. He prophesied her end, but he did not execute it.
It was another man, Jehu, who would ultimately bring Jezebel down. Jehu means “Yahweh is He.” He was anointed specifically to destroy the house of Ahab and confront Jezebel. Jehu had a different anointing—a governmental, militant assignment. While Elijah exposed the spirit, Jehu ended her reign. Elijah carried the word; Jehu fulfilled it. The prophetic voice prepares the way, but the governmental breaker anointing brings the final blow.
The central message from this story, and the key revelation for us today, is the danger of spiritual mixture. Worshiping God alongside idols—whether those idols are people, money, influence, or self—opens the door to Jezebel. This spirit will creep in wherever there is room for compromise. It will influence, seduce, control, and eventually destroy what is holy.
In Revelation 2:20, we read: “But I have this against you, that you tolerate that woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess and teaches and seduces my servants to commit sexual immorality and to eat things sacrificed to idols.” Here, we see that the spirit of Jezebel is not just an Old Testament phenomenon—it infiltrates the New Covenant Church as well. She makes herself appear as a prophetess, someone with spiritual authority, someone believers can relate to and trust. But it is deception wrapped in spiritual language. Her goal is still the same: mixture, seduction, and spiritual compromise. She uses the guise of ministry to introduce spiritual adultery, convincing believers that they can love God and yet hold on to idolatry, fleshly desires, or impure alliances.
Elijah, in his confrontation with the prophets of Baal, did something profoundly significant—he restored the altar of the LORD with twelve stones, representing the twelve tribes of Israel. This was not just a physical act but a prophetic restoration of intimacy with God. It symbolized a return to covenant relationship, to unity, to purity in worship. It was a declaration: “The LORD alone is our God.” Only a restored altar—pure, whole, undivided—can host the fire of heaven and defeat Jezebel.
Jezebel’s deeds are many and dark: witchcraft, idolatry, manipulation, sexual immorality, the murder of prophetic voices, false religion, and control. Wherever she is tolerated, these fruits will follow. Her influence is destructive, her ambition is to usurp spiritual authority, and her hatred is especially directed toward anything pure, holy, and prophetic.
Here are the main actions and events Jezebel orchestrated during her reign, revealing the full scope of her operation:
- Married King Ahab, forming an ungodly political and spiritual alliance.
- Introduced and institutionalized Baal and Asherah worship in Israel.
- Built altars and temples for Baal, including a temple in Samaria.
- Personally fed and supported 850 false prophets (450 of Baal and 400 of Asherah).
- Ordered the systematic murder of the prophets of the LORD.
- Silenced the prophetic voice and drove Elijah into hiding with fear and intimidation.
- Practiced sorcery and witchcraft to manipulate and control spiritual climates.
- Controlled her husband’s decisions and ruled through his authority.
- Orchestrated the false accusation and murder of Naboth to seize his vineyard, abusing power and manipulating legal systems.
- Promoted sexual immorality and idolatrous feasts as religious practices.
- Passed down her spiritual influence to her daughter Athaliah, who continued her legacy in Judah by usurping the throne, killing royal heirs, and spreading idolatry.
The spirit of Jezebel is strategic and multi-layered. It is political, spiritual, seductive, murderous, and religious all at once. Her influence infiltrates structures, marriages, leadership, prophetic movements, and worship when mixture is tolerated. Her goal is not simply to exist—it is to rule.
The only way to remain free from her grip is to have no mixture. No divided worship. No divided loyalties. Only the LORD. Let the fire fall on a restored altar. Let the prophetic voice rise again, purified and bold. Let the Church declare with Elijah: “My God is Yahweh.”
Pray this deliverance prayer with me:
“Yahweh, You are my one true God, and I repent for mixing worship in my life. Let your jealousy consume me! Give me a pure heart and a steadfast spirit to You alone. Be glorified in my life! Sever every bond with Jezebel in all realms of my life, and let me burn with Your holy fire. Baptize me with it, and let me be this fire all the days of my life, in Jesus’ name. Amen.”
God bless you
