Death & Life according to God’s word

 By Joe Tannous

The bible teaches us that “death” is being away from God, it's not when your body dies, it's when your spirit dies. That's why Jesus said to that man “let the dead bury their own dead, but you, come and follow me.” Well, see this with me: How can dead people bury dead people? This can't happen. What Jesus was saying is that a dead person is not according to the worldly system, the one who can't breathe anymore. For Him, a dead person is the one who is away from Him, the one who does not have a real relationship with Him. God has created you to fellowship with you, to spend time with you, to hear you, to speak to your life, to show you how much you mean to Him & the list continues.

You cannot declare “oh yeah I know God”, while you are not having a read relationship with Him. If you love someone, all that you want is to spend time with him/her. The same is with God, He is standing on your door, at your heart, knocking until you hear & when you do hear Him knocking, please do not reject Him, open the door for Him. He wants to build that relationship with you, an everlasting one, do not reject His voice today, your life is so precious to Him, but you will not find that anywhere else except in Him, anything else seem to be life but in fact it leads to death over death, but in Jesus and yes in Jesus, this relationship between You & Him will lead you to recognize life over life over life… because He is the life. Amen

You can hear God

Designed to hear

I tell you the truth, you can hear God! You know the intentions and the desires of a creator in the things he creates. God created Adam in his image and you read in Genesis chapter 2 & 3 how Adam used to sense God’s presence, how they walked & talked with each other. This is God’s purpose from the beginning, to be in an everlasting relationship with you. God longs to talk to you, he has much things in his heart to share with you because he has predestined good plans for you before the foundations of the earth that he wants to reveal them to you.

How can I hear?

“God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in spirit and in truth” (John 4:24), he communicates with you spirit to spirit; he talks to your heart, the innermost part of your being. Now the problem is that the spirit of man died and was separated from God after Adam sinned but Jesus was sent by God to restore and reconciliate this broken relationship between man and God by rebirthing and regenerating the spirit of man into his likeness, what we call the experience to be “born again” (John 3). When you receive his forgiveness of sins it is your spirit man that becomes alive, your physical appearance doesn’t change. You now have spiritual eyes to see and ears to hear the Lord (John 10:27).

Developing sensitivity

Now that you are in and joined the kingdom of God it doesn’t end here, it starts! Developing sensitivity to your heavenly Father’s voice is a beautiful journey and he will make sure to mentor you in this area as long as you hunger for it. It’s hard to mistaken in a phone call the voice of someone you lived with for a long time. Build a daily intimate relationship with Jesus, grow with him and your spiritual senses will mature and sharpen to discern good from evil. (Hebrews 5:14, Acts 2:42).

If you want your spirit to rebirth into the likeness of God, pray: “Jesus, thank you for loving me, I believe you died for my sins and I receive right now your forgiveness in my heart. Everything is new now, I am a new creation and I decree and declare that you are my King, Lord and Savior and I give you all my life” Amen!

WHO IN THE WORLD ARE YOU?

By Patricia King

Jesus stated to those who opposed Him, “You are from below, I am from above; you are of this world, I am not of this world.” John 8:23

He further explained the following to Pilate: “My kingdom is not of this world. If My kingdom were of this world, then My servants would be fighting so that I would not be handed over to the Jews; but as it is, My kingdom is not of this realm.”– John 18:36

In the world but not of it.

We are in the world, but we are not of the world. Jesus prayed in John 17 that the Father would not remove us from the world but that we would be kept from the evil one. We are mandated to represent the Kingdom of heaven in the earth. In 2 Corinthians 5:17-20, Paul taught that when Christ is in our life we are new creations. We are Kingdom creations. Our citizenship is in heaven and we have been commissioned as ambassadors in the earth for the Kingdom of God. An ambassador carries govern- mental authority in a foreign land as he/she represents the nation he/she is from.

Ambassadors have diplomatic immunity in the nation they live in and are governed by the law of the land they come from. Do you know who you are in this world? You are a new creation. You are a citizen of heaven. You are an ambassador for Christ.

Jesus lived in two realms at the same time and so can you. He lived in the natural realm while in the earth but also in the heavenly realm or the Kingdom realm. He explained this to Nicodemus in John 3:12-13.

How do we live in the Kingdom realm while in the earth?

Jesus taught an important key for living in the world as a Kingdom citizen. In Matthew 18:1-4 He explains that we cannot enter the Kingdom realm except we come as a child. He was referring to the innocence, faith, and the realness of a child. When you are childlike, a whole realm opens up to you. Young children are not usually afraid of what people think about them. They have innocent faith and believe what their parents say. They are not concerned about paying the bills or taking on weighty responsibilities. Oh, to be a child! This is the key to entering the Kingdom and enjoying Kingdom life. Jesus wants us to be “child-identified.”

Who In The World Are You?

You are Christ’s representative, an ambassador, a co-ruler with Him, and a Kingdom citizen. But above all of these, you are God’s beloved child. Oh, how your heavenly Father loves you! Oh how He wants you to experience freedom as His precious one.

Revival Is Coming

By Patricia King

A mighty wave of the Spirit is coming to the earth soon! It is going to be amazing and will have greater influence and spread faster than any other move of the Spirit in the history of the church. This move will sweep over the nations like lightning, with a level of grace (God’s favor and divine influence) that is unprecedented, manifesting the fruit of holiness, conviction, and a great harvest of souls.

“For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation to all men, instructing us to deny ungodliness and worldly desires and to live sensibly, righteously and godly in the present age.” Titus 2:11-12 NASB

The younger generation will be transformed by this move and many miracles, signs and wonders will mark the wave. Resurrections and creative miracles will be witnessed on a regular basis, and the presence of the grace of the Lord will fall upon gatherings of believers like a cloud filled with the dew of heaven.

How do we prepare for such a move? Biblical and church history reveals an important key. Having prophetic insight into what is coming is not enough. For example, Elijah heard “the sound of the roar of a heavy shower” (1 Kings 18:41) and immediately went to the top of Mount Carmel to give birth to the vision through watching and praying (see 1 Kings 18:42-45). Birthing revival through intercession is a key. He saw the cloud manifest firsthand and experienced the heavy rain and the accompanying power of God as he outran Ahab’s chariot.

Jesus prophesied to His disciples that they would be “baptized with the Holy Spirit not many days from now” (Acts 1:5). The disciples responded to that word by birthing it in prayer and intercession in the upper room. Like Elijah, they became partakers of the first fruit when the Spirit was poured out and three thousand were added to the church in the first day.

Prior to the Welsh revival, a strong focus of prayer prevailed. Evan Roberts, a pivotal individual in the birthing of the revival, committed himself to prayer and to gaining a more intimate relationship with God for a period of 13 years before the revival in Wales broke out. He went to prayer meetings almost every night of the week to intercede for a mighty visitation of God’s Spirit. The prayer birthed a season of personal visitation from the Lord for him and soon after the revival was launched. Even in the midst of the revival there was tremendous continued grace on prayer.

People were praying everywhere. Small prayer groups grew into large corporate gatherings of intercession at any time during the day or night. As a result of the prayer the revival spread like wildfire. Prayer meetings often lasted till the early hours of the morning and people hesitated to leave lest they miss out on a special move from the Lord.

Similar prayer focus is found prior to other outbreaks of the Spirit throughout revival history. Let’s birth revival. Let’s birth the next outpouring of the Spirit. We have the prophetic word and now we need the intercession. Let’s receive grace to come boldly before the throne and cry out to God to help us in time of need. Let’s humble ourselves before Him and ask Him to manifest His great mercy and power in this hour.

If we posture ourselves in prayer, we will see the glory of God. Revival is on its way.
